... will be taking part in the EXPERIENCE CHRISTMAS Event conducted at Victory Baptist Church Lakeside, Inc., on DECEMBER 17, 2023. I understand and agree that neither the church or any of its officers, employees or volunteers may be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the SNOW HILL, TRAIN, JUMPERS, PETTING ZOO and any other activities that may result in injury, death, or other damages. I agree further to save and hold harmless the church and its officers, employees and volunteers from any claim by me, my family, estate, heirs, or assigns, arising out of my participation in this event or which may arise in the future in connection with the activity or participation in any other associated activities.
I intend to exempt and release the church and its officers, employees and volunteers from all liability whatsoever for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death caused by negligence.
I UNDERSTAND AND HEREBY AGREE TO ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS WHICH MAY BE ENCOUNTERED ON SAID ACTIVITY, INCLUDING ACTIVIES PRELIMINARY AND SUBSEQUENT THERETO.
I expressly agree that this release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be broad and inclusive as permitted by the law of the State of California and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. This release contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto and the terms of this release are contractual and not a mere recital.
